Trolling for Treasures in DUMBO
Seriously? What could be a more "Brooklyn" experience than trolling for treasure Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass.
One of a kind treasures wait to be discovered at Brooklyn Flea
Located at 80 Pearl Street in Brooklyn right under the iconic Brooklyn Bridge you can find everything from Kimono's from Japan to African masks and even hand crafted Menorah's. The Flea market is held every Saturday and Sunday and opens at 10:00 am. If you get there early? You might get lucky like me and find free parking. There's Cafe's and grub all around the block for any pallet.
It didn't take me long to find exactly what I wasn't looking for, but had to have. Being a California transplant? A stall filled with vintage silk Kimonos, and at a fraction of the cost you'd pay in Cali? Can you say score? If you want to score one of Monicas treasures you find her online @ikimononyc
